Insecticide and repellent. BioNeem is a new botanical insecticide that offers broad range insect control. Its active ingredient Azadirachtin is harvested from the seeds of the Neem trees of Southern Asia, Africa, and Australia. While the benefits of this renewable resource have been known for over 4000 years, BioNeem is the most exciting new development to come from the Neem tree, and offers tremendous potential for home pest control. BioNeem acts as a growth regulator interrupting the insect's growth cycle resulting in its death. This multipurpose product effectively controls more than 30 common pests, including aphids, whiteflies, gypsy moths, webworms, mealybugs, and caterpillars on ornamentals, flowers, trees, shrubs, and is now approved for food crops. Its active ingredient has very low toxicity ratings, and has no known insect resistance since it was developed 10 years ago. Soft on beneficials. Residual 7-10 days.
Application rates: Approx. 6 tblsp/gallon of water; or 40/1. Use at 7 day intervals.Depends on what you need to treat, but generally 16 oz. covers 6,000 sq. ft.
